How to Buy Our Sand

At PFS Aggregates, we’re proud to supply and deliver a leading range of sand types to diverse industries across the US. From building and industrial sand to solutions for the oil and gas industry, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to buy our sand. That includes giving you as much advice and assistance as you need to find the right sand type and packaging solution. We’ll then do the hard work for you, delivering our sand to your site for the best possible price.

     1.   Choose your sand type

Finding the perfect type of sand for your specific application isn’t always easy. We have a page that describes a variety of uses for our sand and explains what type of sand is best suited for them.

If your intended application isn’t listed or you would like a little help, please don’t hesitate to give our friendly team a call. They will discuss your project with you and advise you on the most appropriate solution.

     2.   Find the right grain size

Once you know the type of sand you need, you then have to think about the size. The mesh size is defined as the number of openings in one square inch of a sieve. Therefore, the lower the mesh number, the greater the size of the sand. For example, our 8 x 16 mesh silica sand is coarse, while our 100 mesh sand is much finer.

Take a look at our guides below to help you determine the right grain size for your project:

     3.   Decide how much sand you’ll need

The next step is to think about the amount of sand necessary to do the job. This sand buying calculator can be very useful. And once again, if you’d like some expert advice, just get in touch

     4.   Request a quote

Now you know the type, size, and quantity of sand required, just give us a call on 325.239.5239 or email sales@pfsaggregates.com for a quote. There are no hidden charges or extra costs, so the price we quote is the price you’ll pay for the sand, whether loaded onto your trucks or delivered to your site.

     5.   Choose your packaging

If you’re happy with the quote, the final step before placing your order is to choose the most convenient packaging type. We offer our sand in bulk quantities, 50 lb paper or plastic bags, 2,000 lb super sacks as well as 3,000 lb super sacks.

If you have a more specific order, we also offer custom bagging options to meet every need. Just let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll be sure to find a solution.
